Why faro and mead are so similar?

Are you ever tried a faro before? This is so funny because I always faro is a bit like « hydromel » as they say in belgian. It is so much true than it tastes similar except than faro does not have this honey flavor. The Faro is a bit like a candy mead.

Both of the dirnks have a nice dry finish and a sweet, full body mouth. Both of the drink are pasterurized to remove all kind of yeast and micro organism and leave the sugar alone.

The finaly a mead or a faro can be drank in the same time, with the same mood, when you want something easy going and refresshing and also quite soft as you don’t get sourness form a gueuze or bitterness from an IPA.
